Immunoprophylaxis

PI Centro Clinic organizes, controls, collects data, provides information, acquires immunological medicinal products and conducts vaccination in accordance with the Description of the Organization and Performance Procedure Immunoprophylaxis approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania in 23rd of September 2002 Order No. 468 (wording of 27th April 2017 Order No. V-471 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania).

Medicinal products provided for in the National Immunoprophylaxis Programme (for vaccinations according to the preventive vaccination schedule of children of the Republic of Lithuania, vaccination of adults against diphtheria and tetanus, vaccination against influenza and pneumococcal infection for risk groups, rabies postexposure and tetanus prophylaxis (diphtheria and tetanus vaccines), syringes and vaccinations shall be covered from the budget of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (CHIF).

All the patients registered at PI Centro Clinic are eligible for these services.

In other cases, a patient or his/her employer should pay for the services provided.

Priority for vaccination will be given to patients registered at the Centro Clinic.

If a patient requires vaccination that is not covered from the CHIF budget, patients should pay for the intramuscular injection and the price of the vaccine at the outpatient clinic. Price list of paid services.

Due to uneven and insufficient supply of vaccines to the Lithuanian market, please ask your family doctor or contact Lilijan Drevinskienė, a pediatrician for immunoprophylaxis about the availability of specific vaccine.

HEPATITIS B

Health care and public safety workers. Sexually active persons. Drug addicts using intravenous drugs. Travelers. Individuals on dialysis. Patients with conditions requiring organ transplantation.

HEPATITIS A

Travelers.

2 doses (0, 6–12 months).

At least 2 weeks before your trip.

INFLUENZA

Pregnant women. Health care and public safety workers. Individuals over 65, patients with chronic diseases (congenital, acquired heart, lung diseases, diabetes, etc.)

1 dose.

PNEUMOCOCCAL INFECTIONS

Individuals over 65 and all patients with chronic cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal diseases; after a spleen removal; individuals living in closed groups, heavy smokers.

VARICELLA (CHICKENPOX)

Health care and public safety workers. All individuals who have never had chickenpox.

2 doses (0, 1–3 weeks)

TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS

Children at 1 year and adults.

Note! At present, adults are not vaccinated (with paid vaccines) against measles, rubella, mumps (MMR) and pertussis at Centro Clinic.
